Huida Lyu (吕辉达) is a PhD candidate in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at UCLA, working with Prof. Yuzhang Li. His research focuses on electrolyte chemistry for high-performance batteries, including the design of new salts, solvents, and functional interphases.
Before joining UCLA, Huida earned his BSc in Chemistry from Peking University in 2024. His interest in chemistry began through the Chinese Chemistry Olympiad, where he received a silver medal in 2019.
