Welcome to the personal website of Huida Lyu (吕辉达)!
My interest in chemistry originated from my participation in the Chinese Chemistry Olympiad (CChO) when I was in a high school. I won a silver medal in the 33rd CChO in 2019. Then I got admitted into the College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering (CCME) at Peking University in 2020. After my graduation as a bachelor of scienece (BSc) in chemistry in 2024, I joined the group of Yuzhang Li at the Chemical and Biomolecular Department, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) as a PhD student.
My research mainly focuses on the chemistry in energy storage, developing new salts, solvents, and electrolytes for high-performance batteries.
