Guided Practice
Today on our 11th day, we get intimate. Not just in the literal sense of intimacy, we also bring in the work of vulnerability, boundaries, self compassion, shadow work , support and trust we’ve done in days 1-10.
Sacred Intimacy - A deep closeness or familiarity rooted in divine wholeness.
Sacred intimacy requires radical levels of honesty, reflection , acceptance, compassion & ultimately leads to trust in one's self and a deep knowing of your worthiness.
Action: Commit to daily silence and reflection solely for the purpose of getting to know one’s Self. Whether via journal & or meditation, be willing to dive deep & acknowledge any part of you asking for healing.
I surrender to knowing and accepting my truth.
I am worthy to love and be loved.
I use my tongue to speak truth and acceptance of myself and others.
I am Connected to all things eternal. A reflection of divinity.
I honor and own my body. It is a sacred container for my soul.
In this daily process of knowing self, i am whole, wise, complete and divine.
What is sacred about you?
What parts of your shadow self need to be acknowledged, accepted, forgiven?
In what ways will you commit to loving and knowing yourself intimately everyday? How much time are you willing to give yourself day?
In what ways do you actively honor and value your body?
Are there relationship patterns in your life that show a need for healing?
Is there any shame, fear or grief you still carry from past experiences?
If so, what lesson was spirit trying to teach you in those moments?
During conflict, in what ways can you still honor and respect the bond of intimacy with yourself and others?
Are there situations when spirit uses your body to communicate a need for healing or boundaries?
If so, Where do you hold shame, fear, guilt in your body??
Weekly Questions: What are the masks that I wear that are ready to be put down? What is my relationship to accountability; with myself and to others I care for and value? How do I show up in authentic allyship without inviting the performance of my ego to steer? Where can I practice transformative justice within my most intimate relationships and interactions to be liberatory? Am I aware of the microaggressions committed in my presence, how will I begin responding to microaggressions? Can I relinquish my conditioned responses enough to invite expanded beliefs of liberation into my awareness?

Janelle Monae brings intersectionality and nuance to the fight for Black Liberation in this song that celebrates her identity as a Black, queer woman. Janelle’s sci-fi eccentricity brings a taste of Afrofuturism to the equation, positioning her as humanity’s androgynous/android guide to the next phase of its evolution: radical self-acceptance.
