What is unconditional love? —> minimizing judgment/maximizing self-compassion, minimizing feelings of being less than and undeserving/maximizing belief in ones own abilities, minimizing ones doubts/maximizing ones focus on who you really are and who you want to be. (7 minutes)
The Knowledge: Get acquainted with your sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems and how they impact ones overall wellbeing (8 minutes)
Process/The Medicine: Going from conditional to unconditional love … what does it take? —> A shift. Mindfulness. Being aware of your thoughts. How can I turn it around? How can I use the medicine? Introduction of the 3 medicines: closing eyes, deep breaths, supportive/soothing touch. (15 minutes)
Closing Meditation: Loving Self Unconditionally utilizing the 3 medicines (20 minutes)
Weekly Questions: What is my relationship to my breath? My physical body? How connected is my sense of self to the land that I live on? Who were the original stewards of this land? How have things gotten so twisted? How can I see my own self more clearly? How will identifying my biases help me? What work will I do to excavate my shadow self? What do I believe I need to live safely? What do my neighbors need to live safely? What do the people who live cross town need? What is the relationship between my safety and my breath?
