We are excited to announce this year’s Creating Connections symposium, Fri. June 2nd 10am-1pm PT. This year’s event will be part of the campus-wide “AI in Action” series beginning May 12th. The symposium will include three interactive workshops on helping students use ChatGPT at each stage of the writing process, a roundtable on ethical and practical considerations of teaching writing with ChatGPT, and a catered lunch. The 2023 symposium is intended as an in-person event, but we will provide a Zoom link for those who would like to watch remotely.
This event is free, and we welcome interested UCLA graduate students, instructors, library staff, and administrators from all departments and units to attend. Although not required, we encourage participants to sign up for ChatGPT prior to the event, and bring a computer.
