Use the thumb pad on your nondominant hand to swipe through it (left or right).
Take the pointer in your dominant hand to select your options.
Take a moment to familiarize yourself with the controls.
Go to the brush menu, using the bottom arrows to swipe through the various stages of the brush menu.
Select Tapered Marker.
Change the brush to the color purple by going to the color menu and clicking the desired shade of purple.
To adjust the thickness of the brush, use the thumbpad in your dominant hand, swipe left or right to increase or decrease the size.
Pick a size you are comfortable with, keeping in mind that you will be filling these in.
Draw two 3s facing each other (one backwards 3 and one normal 3, and they do not have to be connecting).
Change the color to yellow.
Then draw the body of a butterfly, like an elongated oval.
Adjust the size of the brush if desired using your nondominant hand.
Keep in mind that this is a 2D drawing.
Now fill in the body with yellow, increasing the brush size as needed.
Then, decrease the size of the brush and add two little lines on the top of the head as the antennae.
Change the color to pink and fill in the wings with a larger sized brush.
Finally, change the color to blue and draw any design into the wings with any size brush (over the pink). This could be circles, polka dots, stripes, etc.
Cube Audio Transcript
Hit new sketch in the menu.
Go to sketchbook at the bottom, which looks like a Google menu.
At the bottom right, there’s a ribbon that says Advanced Mode. Click that.
Click Guide (a panel with numerous button functions).
Then Environment.
Click the arrow, until you see the pencil icon which is Illustrative.
This will change the environment to resemble a blank page. If this hurts your eyes there is also a Black option.
Then, go to the Tools menu, click more at the bottom square, then Guides. A flashing menu will pop up, in which you will select Cube Guide. A cube will appear.
Change the color to blue and click Tapered Marker.
Begin to fill in the cube.
If you point your dominant (drawing) hand against the guide, the pointer graphic will change so that it’ll be easier to fill it in.
You may increase the size of the brush as needed, but keep in mind that if it is too big it won’t stay on the guide.
Walk around to fill in the rest of the cube.
Try to stay within the lines because the guide will not do that for you.
Then, go to the floating Guide menu and click the eye icon to turn off the guide once finished.
