In March 2025, I had the opportunity to compete in the SABR Diamond Dollars Case Competition, where my team and I won our room competition, finishing as a runner-up in the overall field. We utilized advanced analytical skills and methodologies in a baseball context to measure relief pitchers by creating a dashboard of metrics to better reflect their performance, including redefining the save statistic. My main focus in this case competition was designing our Shiny App, which is linked below the slides.

In February 2026, I had the opportunity to once again compete in the SABR Diamond Dollars Case Competition. We used Markov chain changes in win probability to help identify when power variant hitters should consider shying away from their common approach at the plate in favor of a more win-creation approach at the plate.

As a Data Analytics Intern for the Syracuse Softball Team, one of my main focuses is creating in-depth scouting reports on upcoming opponents, typically on opposing pitchers.
