Welcome to SYSLAB!
We are a group of systems software researchers in the College of Information and Communication Engineering at Sungkyunkwan University, led by Prof. Jaehyun Hwang (Jae-Hyun Hwang). Our research interests are generally in system software and operating systems in the context of datacenter systems, cloud computing, IoT, and AI. More specifically:
High performance Linux kernel stacks: network, remote I/O, storage, and CPU scheduling.
Intelligent networked systems: system-level design of network protocols and algorithms.
Intelligent system software: system framework/component design with ML.
We are looking for highly motivated graduate (PhD, MS+PhD) students. Please send me an email if you are interested (jh.hwang at skku.edu).
