J.PSC Lab conducts research to elucidate the mechanisms underlying rare diseases by leveraging induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), diverse cell differentiation protocols, and genome editing technologies.

Our primary focus is on investigating the epigenetic landscape of rare diseases using iPSC-based models to develop platforms for evaluating the efficacy and toxicity of precision medicine. To achieve this, we integrate next-generation sequencing (NGS) to analyze epigenetic and genetic alterations, particularly within regulatory domains such as lamina-associated domains (LADs) and topologically associated domains (TADs). Through this approach, we aim to provide novel insights into disease mechanisms and advance personalized therapeutic strategies.
