Classroom Expectations:

Be prepared to begin when class starts

Consult and follow directions and rubrics for all class assignments

Practice proper lab safety and clean up your lab station

Only Use technology when appropriate and instructed to do so

Respect yourself and your peers

Contribute and collaborate with others when assigned to a group

Always listen and follow directions from the teacher

Grading:

Your grades will be determined on a total point basis. More important assessments like projects or tests will be worth more points and therefore contribute more toward your grade. Missing work will count as a 0 and this will reduce your grade. The grading scale will follow the guidelines of the student handbook:

GRADING SCALE

A = 92.5% and above C = 72.5%

A- = 89.5% C- = 69.5%

B+ = 86.5% D+ = 66.5%

B = 82.5% D = 62.5%

B- = 79.5% D- = 59.5%

C+ = 76.5%

Absences/ Tardies:

If you are absent it is your responsibility to get any work or notes you missed that day. If you know you will miss school make sure to get the work prior to your absence. Powerpoints and lectures will be posted to google classroom along with daily assignments so make sure to check google classroom before asking the teacher. A student will be considered tardy if they are not in their seat at the bell.
