My name is Raina Connor and I am a first grade teacher at Sebeka Public School. I am excited about being in the classroom after taking 13 years off to stay at home with my kids! I started my teaching career as a teacher in Gilbert, Arizona. I taught there for 7 years, spent one more year teaching in Bagdad, Arizona and then my husband Josh and I moved back to Sebeka. I am a familiar face around Sebeka, as my 4 children; Brody, a 10th grader, Beau, an 8th grader, Bella, a 6th grader and Braxton, a 4th grader are all super active in Sebeka Schools. I have also spent the past 5 years subbing in Pre-K through 12th grade. I am super excited to be a part of the learning that happens here!
As you can tell from my classroom and my website, I love camping! We love to campground hop and take at least one long trip a year in our camper exploring places that are close enough to drive to. This summer we weren't sure how many campgrounds would be open so we found a seasonal spot and set up roots there. It was an amazing place to relax and get away from the craziness!
While things might not look "normal" this year, I am excited to be back into a classroom and back in front of the eager eyes of my 1st graders! Yay!!
