This will be my 10th year teaching math and my 7th year at Sebeka. I taught middle school for 3 years in Menahga before coming back to Sebeka where I student taught in the spring of 2016. I am starting my 4th year as the advisor for National Honors Society and I am excited to continue to learn more with this position.
I graduated from Frazee High School in 2011 and went on to graduate from Minnesota State University - Moorhead with a bachelor's of science in Math Education in 2016. When I was hired here, I was asked if I would be willing to teach college math courses. I went back to school and got a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction which included a Math emphasis and graduated in December of 2021 from MSUM as well.
I live in Frazee with my wife (Stephanie) and our three children Griffin who is 8 (left), Sawyer who is 7 (middle) and our daughter Brynn, who is now 3 (Right). We enjoy playing outside, going for walks and going for tractor rides on grandpa's farm. Some of my hobbies include hunting, plumbing, wood working, running and bike rides with the family.
