H.I.B.E. Education is the redesign of classroom 1550 in the basement of the James E. Booth building at RIT. The goal was to portray feelings of focus, comfort, opportunity, and a sense of belonging. The color blue instills feelings of focus and engagement, while yellows instill feelings of curiosity and comfort. Biophilic aspects were also incorporated to instill a sense of familiarity and a connection to the environment.
This project was created in a team of four as a part of RIT's Interior Design Program's Materials and Specification class. Deliverables included a formal digital presentation and a full specification book.
