Courtney Sims is entering her sixth year as head coach of the Richardson Eagle Softball Program.
Prior to her start as RHS head coach she was an assistant coach at Wylie East High School. Before starting her coaching career she played Division I softball at Sam Houston State University then completed the rest of her softball career at Abilene Christian University majoring in Kinesiology with a minor in Coaching.
During her five years at RHS, she made history leading her team to their first playoff appearance in 2021. In 2022 RHS eagles were All-City champions, earned 2nd place in district, became Bi-District champions, and made an appearance in Area Playoffs for the first time. In 2023 this program made history again going undefeated in district, becoming Bi-District champions, and appearing in Area playoffs for the second year in a row. Courtney is looking forward to the 2024 season!

Brooke Holloway is entering her third season coaching at Richardson High School after 3 seasons as an assistant softball and assistant volleyball coach at Coppell High School.
Prior to the start of her coaching career, Brooke played Division I softball at Western Kentucky University. She majored in Sociology and minored in Business Administration. She also holds a Masters degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington.
During her first two years at RHS she helped lead this program becoming District champions, All-City champions, Bi-District champions, and appearing in Area Playoffs two years in a row.
Brooke is looking forward to another year at RHS.

Lindsey Cox is entering her fourth season coaching at Richardson High School after 4 seasons as the head volleyball coach at Rowlett High School.
While at Rowlett, Coach Cox led the team to an overall district record of 40-12, a Co-District Championship (’16), a District Runner Up finish (’17), and 4 straight playoff appearances. Prior to Rowlett, Lindsey spent 9 years coaching at Sachse High School as the JV/Varsity Assistant volleyball coach.
While at RHS she helped lead the Richardson softball program to their first playoff appearance in 2021. She also helped lead this program becoming District champions, All-City champions, Bi-District champions, and appearing in Area Playoffs two years in a row.
She attended Ouachita Baptist University on a volleyball scholarship and majored in Secondary Physical Education and Math. She also holds a Masters in Sports Administration from Henderson State University. Coach Cox will be teaching Algebra 2 at Richardson High School.
