What Should I Expect?
Band and orchestra will be offered DURING SCHOOL as part of your regular school day.
Additionally, students are expected to practice their craft at home so they feel prepared for the daily lesson at school. We want you to LOVE playing your instrument like we love playing ours, and we want you to experience success. Band and Orchestra students make time in their day after school for the thing they love to play. If this sounds like you, WE WANT YOU!
How do I get started?
Browse the band and orchestra instrument offerings.
Use the Sign Up Genius link to reserve your time in the band and orchestra instrument fittings. Several different days are offered, and if you want to test out the instruments from both band and orchestra, you need to attend a fitting for each group (one for band, one for orchestra).
Attend one of our instrument fittings to choose your instrument!
Ultimately, we want you to choose the instrument that fits your body the very best, and that may or may not be the one you thought would be the best fit. We encourage students to try a minimum of three instruments from both orchestra and band so you can decide what fits you and your body most comfortably.
