Q: Do I have to have dance experience to tryout?
A: No, but it helps.
Q: How many girls make the team?
A: The district does not specify the number of members for any school. It is determined by an independant panel of professional judges.
Q: When do you practice?
A: The Eaglettes are double blocked 1st/2nd periods and team practices begin at 8am. If you make the team, as a Rookie you are placed in 2nd period Rookie class for spring semester and will practice 8:30am.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: Cost for a first year memeber is approx. $750 for the first year. Each year after is significantly less. Payment schedules are made to divide the amount.
Q: Do you have to be able to do the splits?
A: The left and right splits are part of the tryout criteria but not having full splits does not disqualify you from the team.
Q: Who can tryout?
A: Any RHS student going into the 10th-12th grade.
Q: Do we have to have a physical?
A: If you make the team you will have to provide a current physical before participating in Rookie class.
