Chromebook Insurance

Chromebook insurance is $20 for the year ($10 if you have Free or Reduced Lunch)

*If you are a new student to Berkner, you may purchase Chromebook insurance within the first two weeks of your enrollment. CASH only or check in with the library for other ways to pay

Chromebook Insurance Coverage

Insurance DOES NOT cover the cost of a Chromebook if you loose it due to negligence. For example, if you leave it somewhere and it gets taken, if you leave it with another person and they misplace it, if it breaks because you smashed it out of anger, etc.

Insurance DOES cover the cost of a Chromebook if it is stolen. You would need proof that you purchased insurance AND a police report to get.

Insurance DOES cover accidental damage. For example, if you drop it and it breaks, broken keys, etc.

Paying for Chromebooks/Chargers

If you need to pay for a lost or damage Chromebook and/or charger. Go to the library to pay in CASH. (Prices may vary)

Need a Password Reset?

To reset a password, please select the right reasons for needing a password reset and follow the directions on the form. After waiting about 1 hour and 30 minutes, if you still can't log in, then come to the circulation desk in the library to reset your password.

Google Password

This password is for logging into your Chromebook or to log in to anything Google!

Focus/MAC Password

This password is for logging into Focus to view grades or class schedule OR if you need to log-in to MAC computers in class.

Need to Print?

The student printer is located on the circulation desk in the library. You MUST have a Chromebook to print because it is the only type of devices that work on the school printers. Students have a 10 page limit a day.
