HOPEFULLY ITS FOR YOU <3
What started as an idea has grown into one of Renton High School's most exciting career-connected learning experiences.
This year marked the inaugural launch of Ramon's Closet, Renton High School's student-run merchandise and apparel store led by Ms. Toone, where students don't just learn about business—they run one.
From designing apparel and building a brand to printing merchandise, managing finances, creating marketing campaigns, and serving clients, students are responsible for every step of the operation. Every product is designed, produced, and managed entirely in-house, giving students authentic real-world experience that prepares them for college, careers, and entrepreneurship.
Several students also took their learning a step further by earning the Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management Certification, an industry-recognized credential that demonstrates their readiness for future careers.
91 students gained hands-on workplace experience.
11 students earned their Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management Certification.
1,381 pieces of merchandise were designed and produced.
7 Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs and activities were supported.
16 client orders were successfully completed.
7 student designers from outside the class had their artwork featured on merchandise.
As the first year comes to a close, one thing is clear: Ramon's Closet has already become much more than a merchandise store. It is a place where students turn classroom learning into real-world experience, gain industry skills, and leave prepared for whatever comes next.
This is only the beginning, and the future of Ramon's Closet is brighter than ever.
