Mr. Smith has been working at keeping doors open and opening new ones for students for 23 years. He taught at Tahoma High School for 11 years, spent 7 years in various district-level roles in the Tahoma and Renton School Districts and has taught middle school science for the past 5 years.

A whole lot of years ago Mr. Smith taught 3 different classes in 5 different classrooms. Tired of looking for paperclips and Post-it notes in other people's classrooms, he bought a vest and emptied his desk into it. It is so convenient he just never stopped.
