"Teachers skilfully craft their teaching to provide regular opportunities for learners to recall and apply knowledge and skills. Learners regularly repeat and review what they learn, and are able to recall accurately what they have learned previously. For example, learners in economics build their knowledge of economic policy so that they can confidently describe the impact on the economy of government changes. "
"Teachers are enthusiastic about their subject and teach in a way that motivates learners. They link theory to practice well and expertly use subject-specific vocabulary. As a result, learners rapidly develop new knowledge and skills. For example, learners in economics use subject-specific terminology very well."

Hi, I'm Charlie Howell, I studied at QE between 2009-11. I did A levels in Economics, Maths and Computing. After QE, I studied Economics at Cambridge. I then did two years of work & travelling (teaching English in Japan then working in a ski resort) and now I work in London as an actuarial consultant. I'm hoping to qualify as a fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries this year. In my role, I build and test spreadsheet and software models, projecting insurance companies' assets and liabilities.
I’m Ethan Capenhurst and I left in 2018. Currently working at Gestamp which is a tier 1 automotive supplier and I work as an assistant buyer. It is an apprenticeship and I’m studying towards a degree in management and in my second year! Currently planning my dissertation on sustainable sourcing.
