The seal is an award given by the district to recognize students who have achieved proficiency in two or more languages, one of which is English, by high school graduation.
To celebrate the achievement, the district awards three distinctions to each student who earns the seal.

The Seal of Biliteracy will be affixed to the student's diploma.
