Famous Alabamian Wax Museum 2018

Our 17-18 Class worked to publish A Collection of Poems about Alabama!

I FINISHED Eden's 2017-2018 Yearbook and submitted it for printing! I hope every student & staff member LOVES this yearbook!

We wrote thank you notes to our generous DC donors and got an e-mail compliment from the Donors Choose team!

Students wrote poems about the Civil Rights Movement and we published them on yellow paper like Jack's teacher from Love That Dog by Sharon Creech.

Math students used FlipGrid to record a message for their parents about a test on fractions.

Students went to Munford High School to visit the AMAZING Classroom in the Forest.

Students worked toward AR Goals all year and had AR parties each 9 weeks to celebrate accomplished goals.

The annual 4th grade Montgomery Field trip

I designed choir shirts for the Eden choir students, and these girls helped with the time consuming task of weeding vinyl.

Mrs. Funderburg and I helped a BUNCH of 3rd and 4th grade students to complete a super cool Google coding activity that earned their teachers $200 Donors Choose gift cards!

The whole 4th grade visited Little River Canyon for a free field trip to explore AL's National Park.

School Wide Contest: Invite guest readers to read to students during Read Across America week. Our class WON with 44 readers throughout the week including,: former teachers of staff members, staff members (past and present), former students, family members, parents & grandparents (my own and students'), classes in other states in the US (through video calls), local business owners, PC Police Chief, and PC Mayor!

Mrs. Segrest was MY teacher in 4th, 5th, and 6th grades!

Mrs. Costello (principal at WIS and wife of Coach Costello even took time out of her day to read to 4th graders!

My best friend since 7th grade, Mrs. Bowler read AND brought cupcakes!

A SUPER sweet former 4th grader took time away from the college life to read to 4th graders. Miss Weems is working to become a teacher, too!

Our class has benefited in BIG ways from the non-profit organization for teachers, Donors Choose. Since 2016, I have raised $6,500+ for my school/classroom!
