Rifle Team

The Bobcat Battalion Marksmanship Team competes in the Civilian Marksmanship Program Three Position, 10 Meter, Sportsman Air Rifle Events.  All cadets who participate in rifle marksmanship receive gun safety training first and then practice rifle marksmanship in range firing activities.  JROTC competition firing is done in three standard firing positions: Prone, Standing and Kneeling Positions. 

A team consist of 4 team members.  We utilize the Crosman Air Rifles w/.177 pellets and compressed Air.
