The National Autism Symposium is a unique, annual event established as a platform for healthcare professionals, educators, social workers, autistic adults as well as parents to share evidence-based and practice-based evidence on autism and co-morbid disorders. The event also serves as a networking opportunity to foster change at clinical, family, and community levels in the North West province as well as surrounding regions. The collaborative symposium is currently the only event of the sort in South Africa. The symposium will continue to contribute towards better service in the North West province and other parts of the country.
