I am an assistant professor in Climate Change and Sustainable Development at National Taiwan University, Taiwan. (since August 2025)
I obtained my Ph.D. in Climate Dynamics, George Mason University in 2022 with Prof. Paul A. Dirmeyer.
I worked as a postdoctoral research associate in Prof. Stephan A. Fueglistaler's group at Princeton University and closely collaborate with Dr. Kirsten Findell at NOAA/GFDL from 2023-2025.
My research interests encompass global hydroclimate, weather and climate extremes, land–atmosphere interactions, and climate change. I focus on soil moisture–evapotranspiration coupling, the intensification mechanisms of droughts and heatwaves, and how precipitation timing and distribution shape surface water availability. My work integrates in-situ and satellite observations, reanalysis datasets, and Earth system model simulations, with a strong emphasis on data-driven methods.
