New Research Forthcoming in
Journal of Cross-Cultural Psychology

A forthcoming research article led by Gao-Xian Lin and Isabelle Roskam, coauthored with Heidi Keller, Moira Mikolajczak, and IIPB members demonstrated specific types of ideal-parent beliefs across five parenting culture zones by gathering parents from 37 countries across the five main continents.

New Research Appears in
British Journal of Clinical Psychology

A 2022 research article led by Gao-Xian Lin, Amit Goldenberg, and James J. Gross found that both reappraisal and social support significantly predicted less parental burnout, even after controlling sociodemographic factors. Furthermore, reappraisal significantly lessened the detrimental effect of lacking social support on parental burnout.
