We have been learning about a variety of animals in this unit. Each time we studied a new animal we looked at how their structures each had a function that supported their growth, survival, behavior, or reproduction. We also saw how these animals had different sense receptors that collect specialized information and send that information to the brain to process and use. Now that we know that these features are prevalent in all animals we want to apply what we have learned to find out about the structure, function, and information processing of other animals.
