Dr. Hanna Teräs is Principal Lecturer (Digital learning environments) at the School of Professional Teacher Education at Tampere University of Applied Sciences. Her research interests include authentic learning, adult and professional education, and digitalization of education.
PLENARY SPEAKERS
Dennis is a test and scale developer, program evaluator, curriculum designer, and applied statistician. His area of interest revolves around Assessment for Learning (AfL) particularly in supporting teachers to make highly contextualised, consistent, fair and trustworthy assessment decisions to effectively support student learning. He has been involved in a number of international and national research projects. He also researches on a broad range of topics including student IT experiences, blended and online learning, standards-based assessment, and learning analytics to help inform curriculum design, professional development and policy. He has received various scholarships from the Philippines and Australian governments and a public diplomacy scholarship from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Korea. He was a former Dean of Education of the University of Southeastern Philippines before joining UNSW.

Arnel is a full professor at the Department of Accountancy of the Ramon V. Del Rosario College of Business at the De La Salle University. He served various administrative positions in De La Salle University such as Vice Chancellor for Administration, Chief Compliance Officer, Chair of the Accountancy Department and Chair of the Business Management Department.
He is a trainer and lead assessor in the ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) network.

Johnson is the founder and principal consultant of Education Quality International (EQI). He is also an AUN-QA Expert, AUN-QA’s “Green Jacket” Assessor and was a founding member of the AUN-QA Council and Technical Team. He is actively involved in the AUN-QA assessment and training of Chief Quality Officers (CQOs), AUN-QA assessors and QA professionals at the AUN-QA Network. He is instrumental in the development, training and documentation of AUN-QA Framework and Guidelines at both programme and institutional levels. Johnson was also appointed as a QA expert in the ASEAN-QA Project Phase I and II; and at the East African Quality Assurance Forum organised by HRK and DAAD in 2012. He is a member of the QA expert group in the EU-SHARE project and an international curriculum development specialist appointed by the Luxembourg Development Project Office in Lao PDR.

Edizon is the Vice President for Academic Affairs of the National Teachers College. He has a doctorate degree in Filipino Language Planning and Policy from the University of the Philippines in Diliman. He is the founder of EdSpeaks, a professional development group that focuses on adaptive, innovative, and resilient education and a published researcher and national trainer in learner-centered outcomes-based education. He also works with the British Council and the CHED International Affairs in developing policy and practice pathways in transnational education and adult education, especially in terms of quality assurance. In responding to the complex educational implications of the recent COVID-19 pandemic, he currently provides expert advice to the CHED Technical Working Group on the Continuity of Inclusive Education through Appropriate Flexible Learning Options.
Satria is a Professor of Geophysical Engineering and has established a simple but active laboratory at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) specializing in the development and applications of PREM (paleo-, rock-, and environmental magnetism) in fields ranging from paleoenvironment and paleoclimate, to agricultural geophysics.
Pamela is the Vice-Chancellor for Planning and Development of the Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology. As Vice-Chancellor for Planning and Development, she is primarily responsible for the University’s strategic roadmap. She oversees offices responsible for institutional planning and development, monitoring and evaluation, international affairs, and quality assurance and management services. She is also responsible for recommending policies that are aimed to improve University processes and organizational climate as well as policies that support the University’s efforts to become at par with world-class universities.
