Summer Reading EdVenture
A Journey Through the Pages of Professional Growth
The Mission
Through our curated selection of 16 professional development books, we aim to ignite a passion for continuous learning, innovation, and excellence in teaching. Educators will not only expand their knowledge but also cultivate the skills and perspectives needed to enhance their teaching practices, ultimately contributing to the success and well-being of the students they serve.
The Vision
We are running this like the March Book Madness program.
You will read and reflect using a free and Ed-law 2d compliant tool, Book Creator.
We will offer an opportunity to engage in conversation through collegial circles, for additional CTLE credits.
We will close out this asynchronous event with the book bracket battle in September and winners will receive a prize from Book Creator!
How to get in the game:
Select and obtain your books from our list.
Fill out your bracket (seen right) as you read.
Complete detailed reader responses in Book Creator* to receive 10 CTLE credits per completed book.
Once you are done reading and reviewing all the books you want, tell us by submitting your filled in bracket via email.

Collegial Circle Discussions for Each Reading Region
Register to join us in discussing the reading region categories. While no prior reading is required, it would be wonderful to have attendees connect our discussion topics to the books from that region if possible. Snacks will be provided thanks to Wegmans!
