Evaluating AI Tools

As with any resource you use with learners, AI tools need to be evaluated prior to teacher and/or student use.

Considerations when evaluating AI tools:

• Define your goals

• User-friendly interface

• Data privacy and security

• Integration - Single sign on? Google or Microsoft account?

• Customization

• Cost-effectiveness - especially important for tools that start free and then require subscription.

• Feedback and support

• Pilot testing
