Go to the Printmaking center in the art room and start working on your printmaking project. If you need ideas for imagery, check out the video below about Pop Art. Several Pop Artists were print-makers, like Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein. Could you add Pop Art into your printmaking project?
If Pop Art isn't appealing to you, try a non-objective subject for your artwork.
Non-objective art is not based on things you see in the real world. Often it involves elements of geometry, and you might see it referred to as geometric abstraction. It's a type of abstract art, in which artists aren't concerned with portraying recognizable objects from visible reality (Przybylek, 2020).
Once you have a best print and it is dry, use the Ipad to photograph your print and upload to Artsonia under the Assessment Tab where Mrs. Cannon will view, assess, and give feedback for your print.
Students who complete this assignment are using the 21st Century Skills of creativity, critical thinking and problem solving, innovation, information literacy, flexibility, and self-direction (Dean et al., 2010).
