Introduction
Physics is one of the most fundamental natural sciences. It involves the study of universal laws, and of the behaviours and relationships among a wide range of physical phenomena. Through the learning of physics, students will acquire conceptual and procedural knowledge relevant to their daily lives. Study of physics will also enable students to develop an understanding of the role of physics in many important developments in engineering, medicine, economics and other fields of science and technology. Moreover, study of physics will enable students to develop an integrative view of the relationships that hold between science, technology, society and the environment (STSE).
Curriculum
The Physics curriculum plan for F.3 to F.6 is as follows:
F.3: Heat and Optics
F.4: Heat, Optics, and Force and Motion
F. 5: Waves, Electricity and Magnetism, and Radioactivity and Nuclear Energy
F.6: Atomic World, Energy and Use of Energy, and Medical Physics

To enhance students' interest in Physics, our department organizes various activities for them.

Our department co-organizes the Science Society with the Biology and Chemistry departments. The Science Society is dedicated to promoting science popularization within the school, allowing students to engage with science beyond classroom hours.
