Introduction:
I became interested in chemistry in high school, fascinated by how complex chemical reactions can be described through simple rules. Yet the frequent exceptions led me to question whether more general principles exist. Inspired by Prof. Hsu’s first-principles approach, I learned to think from fundamental laws and examine assumptions carefully. My current research is based on the emission power spectra framework developed in our lab within the scheme of macroscopic quantum electrodynamics (MQED), focusing on the mechanisms of metal-enhanced fluorescence (MEF) and the design of efficient molecular emitters.
