Alexis Hale

librarian

Mrs Hale joined the Busy Bee family as the school librarian September 2024 and loves being part of such a loving school community. Mrs Hale was a librarian in Virginia while her husband was stationed with the US Air Force. She was also a teacher and librarian with Horry County prior to moving for the military.

Marie Stackhouse

library assistant

Mrs Stackhouse recently moved to South Carolina and joined the Busy Bee family. She is an avid reader that loves finding new books for her students.

Mrs Stackhouse loves spending time with her family and dogs.

Policies & Procedures

Checkout Policy

Child Development - 2nd grade may check out one book per library visit.
3rd - 5th grade may check out two books per library visit.
Materials are due back in two weeks to exchange.
Special permission for more materials may be granted when necessary for an assignment.

Lost Book Policy

If a book is lost or damaged, the book must be paid for before additional books can be checked out.
The replacement cost of the book is quoted on the overdue notice.
Payment for a lost book is reimbursed should the book be found and returned in good condition.
