DECA Attendance Policy

Being an active member of CFHS DECA means being involved, dependable, and willing to contribute to our chapter. Members are expected to attend DECA meetings, events, and activities regularly.

Members who have 3 unexcused absences may have their membership status reviewed by the DECA advisor.

Excused Absences May Include:

• Illness or medical appointment

• Family emergency

• School-sponsored activity or event

• Important family commitment

• Religious observance

• Other circumstances approved by the DECA advisor

Members should communicate with the DECA advisor as soon as possible when they cannot attend.
