Liam Chalk is a senior engineering major at Harvey Mudd College specializing in electrical engineering and FPGA design. He grew up in Washington D.C. and became interested in engineering from his high school robotics club and biotechnology class. He enjoys biking, chess, rock climbing, and traveling. Liam has worked on projects relating to autonomous vehicles, satellite radio communication, rocketry, forensic research, and clinical medical research. He looks forward to continuing his career in signals engineering, FPGA design, and data processing.
Amy Qian is a senior engineering major at Harvey Mudd College specializing in software testing. Originally from Orange County, CA, Amy discovered her passion for engineering while using the CNC mill in high school. When she's not in the lab, you can find her running, playing volleyball, or crafting in the makerspace. Amy has worked on a wide range of projects, including autonomous underwater robots, satellite manufacturing and dynamics, mechanical design, and web app design. She is excited to continue exploring the intersection of different engineering disciplines and work on innovative technologies in the future.
