Ms. Deaver seems to teach the children “more.” She teaches at a pace and depth that I have witnessed and seen how over the year the kids all seem to catch on. She groups the children in such a way ( I suspect) that allows her to make sure they all can achieve at the pace most comfortable for them and from what I have seen, the outcome is excellent. For the gifted students in her class she always provides extra work should they need more stimulation. My daughter is gifted and Ms. Deaver holds her attention and gives her, as well as the other children, their chance in the spotlight to always have their input said aloud in the class which helps the children feel important and comfortable to share and excited to learn. She is a great teacher who teaches very well.
