Hey Falcon Families!
Here at Pfluger, our GT students have been working very hard on different extension projects throughout this Spring Semester! We wanted to show off all of their hard work by presenting you with this Spring Newsletter!
At Hays CISD, we've come up with a great way to describe our GT students using the acronym I.D.E.A.S.
I.D.E.A.S stands for the following:
Innovators
Designers
Engineers
Artists
Storytellers
Check out the different extension activities and student chosen passion projects/products by clicking on each grade level's tab in the bar on the top of this page!
**ALSO! Don't forget! If you or a teacher referred your student for GT testing during the April referral period, the testing will occur on June 3 and 4 and parents must bring their child to testing on both dates. After the close of the referral period, a schedule will be shared with specific times and locations. Parents will receive an email with more information in May.**
Parents will receive the results of this testing on June 21st.

Hello,
I am excited to share the second edition of the Hays CISD G/T Magazine for the 2023-2024 school year. Please click on THIS LINK to view the magazine. In addition, as part of our ongoing efforts to evaluate gifted and talented services within our district, we are conducting a survey aimed at gathering valuable insights from parents of students who have been receiving G/T services this school year. We value your input and look forward to understanding your perspectives, experiences, and suggestions regarding G/T services. To access the survey, please click on THIS LINK.**
**There is a link in the Hays CISD G/T Magazine (linked above) if you are interested in finding some G/T Summer opportunities for your child if you are interested!**
Do you know someone who is doing an awesome job supporting the needs of gifted and advanced students? Nominate them today for the G/T Spotlight Award here: G/T Spotlight Award Nomination
