What is Schoology

Schoology is an integrated learning management solution that provides course management, mobile learning, and support for system-wide communication. Schoology enables our students, parents, and teachers to engage with learning materials and their school community from the classroom and beyond. In addition, students can digitally submit homework assignments, review grades, participate in interactive discussions, receive announcements and feedback, take tests, write academic blogs, and more. This platform helps students stay organized, and it keeps the class connected and aligned. Student progress and activity will be monitored by faculty to ensure a safe, secure, and controlled environment.

How do Parents connect to Schoology?

As a parent, you will be able to view your child’s activity within the platform with your own login. A Schoology Parent Account gives you access to:

  • The classes in which your child is enrolled

  • Your child’s upcoming assignments

  • School and class announcements

Parents that have registered their child through TEAMS , will receive an email with their Schoology access information once classes have been finalized.

Through your parent Schoology account, you will be able to see your child's class assignments, daily grades, and course calendars. You will not be able to participate in classroom activities. How do I help my child navigate Schoology?

Preparing your child or children to work in Schoology will be similar to working in Google Classroom except Schoology offers so much more. We have created a Student Resources page to help you and your child understand how to navigate Schoology. It provides you with videos and resource guides to help you with your child's courses, teacher feedback, and communication tools.
