6th Grade Topics

August - Welcome Presentation - Basic policies and procedures of the counseling department and the campus.

October - Bullying - What it is and how to report it.

February - Course Selections - The course sheet will be explained to the students and sent home for family discussion.

7th Grade Topics

August - Welcome Presentation - Basic policies and procedures of the counseling department and the campus.

October - Graduation Requirements & the Graduation Plan - Graduation requirements will be explained and the creation of a graduation plan will be introduced. Parental appointments will be announced at a later date.

February - Course Selections - The course sheet will be explained to the students and sent home for family discussion.

March - May - Graduation Plans - Students will work with a counselor to create a plan to graduate high school along will the selection of all of their classes for the next 5 years.

8th Grade Topics

August - Welcome Presentation - Basic policies and procedures of the counseling department and the campus.

October - PSAT - This college readiness exam will be explained in preparation of students taking the test the next week.

November - Graduation Plan Review - Students will review their plan in preparation of high school counselor visits for 9th grade course selection.

February - Course Selections - The course sheet will be explained to the students and sent home for family discussion.
