Hello, my name is Thomas Hernandez and I’ve been playing the harp for plenty of years now. I’ve had some great experiences come out of my playing and performance with this instrument, and now I’m here available to give lessons to students and spread the music and culture behind the “folkloric harp”. 

Thomas has received many acknowledgements, such as making the TMEA All-State Mariachi on harp (being selected as the #1 mariachi harp in the state of Texas), performing with Mariachi Alma Mexicana and receiving 1st place at the Mariachi Spectacular de Albuquerque in 2024, and regularly performing with Mariachi Aguilas de Oro, who received 2nd place at the 2025 Houston Rodeo Mariachi Invitational.
