Daily Dahlstrom Band Class Schedule:

Band Hall Opens @ 7:30am Monday through Friday

1. 8:10am to 8:58am - Clarinet & Saxophone

2. 9:02am to 9:50am - Trumpet, Baritone, Tuba

3. 9:54am to 10:42am - Flute, Oboe, Bassoon, & Percussion

4. 10:46am to 11:34pm - Horn & Trombone

11:38am to 1:12pm - PIE & Lunch (no private lessons)

5. 1:16pm to 2:03pm - Wind Ensemble

6. 2:07pm to 2:54pm - Symphonic Band

7. 2:58pm to 3:45pm - Jazz Band
   4:00pm to 5:00pm - Sectionals & UIL Rehearsals

Band Hall Closes @ 5:00pm Monday through Thursday

Band Hall Closes @ 3:45pm on Friday

Students in certain bands will have a weekly section rehearsal for the fundamentals of instrument technique, region music preparation, solo and ensemble preparation, and UIL concert and sight-reading. These occur either before or after school. Students are expected to be punctual and prepared each week. Sectionals and rehearsals are an extension of the classroom, as recognized by UIL regulations, and are graded accordingly. Sectional & after-school rehearsal attendance is required for band students, as assigned. Every effort will be made to accommodate students’ weekly school-sponsored schedules (athletics, tutorials, etc.). We do understand that some conflicts are inevitable. Sectional attendance can be made up with director approval on any other day, before or after school. Students will need to make arrangements for transportation before or after school. The district provides a late bus on certain days and we will work with your student to coordinate this, if necessary. 

Sectional grades will count ONE TIME in the grade book.
