Hello, I wanted to mention a few things about myself that you may not have known and give you the opportunity to catch a glimpse of Mrs. Duran's life. I have been a Counselor for six years and an educator for a total of 15 years and I am from the lower Rio Grande Valley. I grew up in a family who pushed education and where they encouraged me to aim higher when it came to getting my education. I went to college, earned my Bachelor's and Master's degree, which took a lot of hard work and dedication!
Today, you will find me here at Hemphill Elementary and I am eager to work with many hard-working and caring students who are making a difference in our world today. I am here to provide you with additional resources, Counseling guidance and educational pathways for your future. I look forward to meeting all our hard-working students, staff and parents at Hemphill Elementary and I am available via phone or email if you need to schedule a meeting.

Hola, quería mencionar algunas cosas sobre mí que quizás no sabías y darte la oportunidad de echar un vistazo a la vida de la Sra. Duran. He sido Consejera por seis años y educadora por un total de 15 años y soy de del Valle del Río Grande. Crecí en una familia que impulsaba la educación y donde me animaban a apuntar más alto cuando se trataba de obtener mi educación. Fui a la universidad, obtuve mi licenciatura y maestría, ¡lo cual requirió mucho trabajo duro y dedicación!
Hoy, me encontrará aquí en Hemphill Elementary y estoy ansiosa por trabajar con muchos estudiantes que trabajan duro y se preocupan y que están haciendo una diferencia en nuestro mundo de hoy. Estoy aquí para brindarle recursos adicionales, orientación de consejería y vías educativas para su futuro. Espero conocer a todos nuestros estudiantes, personal y padres que trabajan arduamente en la Primaria Hemphill y estoy disponible por teléfono o correo electrónico si necesita programar una reunión.
