Study Climate Change Using Basic Thermodynamics

Position Description: Come research the fundamentals of climate change! This position will involve running a basic radiative transfer climate model (which sounds more intimidating than it is) and summarizing its results. If time/interest allows, it can also involve doing exploring satellite observations of atmospheric chemical composition.
Project Dates: June 13-July 1, 2022

Location: In-person or remote
Pay Rate: $700 stipend at completion of program
Qualifications/Requirements:
High school physics
Computer-related skills (Python knowledge preferred)
Computer and internet connection required
Project host requests that the student participate in lab group meetings.
The Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences (EPS) welcomes everyone and aims for a diverse and inclusive community.
