Position Description: An opportunity to learn python while doing some basic analysis of climate observations. The precise goal will be set based upon the student's interest and abilities.

Duration: 2 weeks

Work Hours: 10 hours/week

Pay Rate: $15/hour

Requirements:

  • minimal exposure to programming in any programming language and an interest in learning more

  • laptop (Windows, Mac or Linux)

  • internet

  • complete a survey at the end of the project

Opportunities to Explore the EPS Department:

The student will be invited to join the Tziperman group meetings by zoom.

The Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences welcomes everyone and aims for a diverse and inclusive community. Preferences will be given to rising sophomores and incoming first year students, but we encourage all interested students to apply. Students who are already working with members of the EPS community are not eligible for this position.
