What is the STEM Fair?
The STEM Fair is your chance to explore something that interests YOU. You’ll choose a real-world problem or question and use the Design Thinking Process to come up with a solution. You’ll get to brainstorm, create, test your ideas, make improvements, and share what you learned. Just like in STEM class!
You don’t need to have the perfect idea to get started—just bring your curiosity and creativity!
This site has everything you need to help you choose a project, follow the steps, and get ready for the STEM Fair.

Attention all Kindergarten through 5th-grade students! It is time to show off your inner scientist and inventor.
Team Up: Work solo or collaborate with up to 3 partners per project.
Project Turn-In & Judging: All projects are due on Saturday, January 9 at North Gwinnett High School, where judging will take place.
Winners will be announced the following week and will advance to the official Gwinnett County Science and Innovation Fair on 2-26-27!
