GCYS

The Gwinnett County Youth Symphony (GCYS) is an auditioned orchestra program for GCPS students.  It is a string orchestra during the fall semester and a full orchestra during the spring semester (including winds, brass, and percussion).  Though GCYS consists primarily of high-schoolers, it is open to students in the sixth through twelfth grade.  (Students must be enrolled in their school orchestra program to be eligible for auditions and orchestra membership.)

The Fall 2025 Audition is August 23rd at Hull Middle School

Deadline to Sign Up is August 15th. 

The audition consists of three parts:

Scales and Arpeggios

Excerpts (Available in August)
