Registration for Current NGHS Students

Bulldogs,

It is time to start thinking about your course selection for the 2021-22 school year. Several upcoming advisement lessons are dedicated to registration and the course selection process. This year the registration process will be different, so it is important that you are attending your Friday advisement classes so you stay informed about your schedule for next year and your opportunities for a schedule change.

Soon, your teachers will start having conversations with you about placement options for next year. I encourage each of you to be an active participant in the conversation whether you are in-person or digital. As you start thinking about your course selections for next year, be sure to take into consideration the total workload of all of the classes as well as your out of school commitments (ex. extracurricular activities). We encourage you to be a well-rounded student but want you to be aware of the stress an overload of classes can cause you mentally. When finalizing your schedule, please include your parent/guardian in the conversation and make your decisions based on what is best for you and not what your friends are doing.
