Second Grade News

Week of 3/9/26

Thank you to all those who came out to conferences this week! We enjoyed getting to discuss all of your student's success with you!

Fun Run Event will be March 12th at 8:45!

Friday is a digital learning day! Assignments will be posted by 9:00 am.

The 2nd Grade Musical Performances will be April 1st and 2nd.

4/1 Hull, Irvine, Carroll, Brech, Rollins, Rigdon

4/2 - Carmony, Phillips, Tisby, Stephenson

Performances will be at 9:00 am. If your student has a speaking part, they will perform in both performances. More information to come from Ms. Myles and Ms. Powell. Here's the practice site for the students to practice at home!

WHAT ARE WE LEARNING/HOMEWORK

During this unit, we will begin to dive into pollinators and how they help us. We will be reading multiple nonfiction texts and practicing our reading comprehension. We will be working on an informational writing piece about a pollinator we have researched.

Guiding Question:

How do we get the fruits, flowers, and vegetables we enjoy?
