Mission

The mission of the Duluth Choral program is to foster empathy, self-awareness, and global citizenship in our students by prioritizing a safe, positive classroom environment and selecting literature that represents, respects, and appreciates cultures from our community and all over the world.

Ms. Ivy Overcash (she/her)

Ms. Overcash, chorus and AP Music Theory teacher at Duluth High School, became a Wildcat in 2016 and couldn't imagine teaching anywhere else. Ms. Overcash has her bachelors in Music Education from Appalachian State University and her Masters of Music from Emory University. She is the proud mom of a 1-year-old girl, Eliza, sings alto in Atlanta Master Chorale, and enjoys reading and traveling.
