9th and 10th grade students from Gwinnett County target schools — including Berkmar, Discovery, and Meadowcreek — to participate in the Upward Bound Program at Georgia State University (GSU)!
This FREE College and Career Readiness Program is designed to support students in becoming college-ready while exploring career pathways — and includes some amazing benefits:

✅ College and Out-of-state Exploration tours every year
✅ Small stipend for participation
✅ Mentorship from GSU staff and college students

Eligibility Requirements:
Must be in 9th or 10th grade
Attend one of the target schools in Gwinnett County
Meet federal income guidelines and be a first-generation college-bound student
Submit recommendations from a school counselor and a teacher

Gwinnett County high school student participants have the opportunity to explore careers in health care while building relationships with PCOM Georgia faculty and student mentors during this summer STEM camp.
The PCOM Georgia Opportunities Academy takes place annually in the month of June at PCOM Georgia in Suwanee, GA. This program is available to Gwinnett County area high school students at no cost.
